QUESTIONS

FAQ

Straight answers for version 1.3, the build on the App Store now.

Is Pickle Drop free?

Yes. Download it from the App Store and play without paying. Version 1.3 has no in-app purchases. Coins, lives, levels, the shop, Endless, and the pickle stand are all in the free game.

When do ads show up?

Only when you tap an optional rewarded video. Ads do not play in the middle of a drop, and they do not play automatically when you clear or fail a level. If you never tap an ad button, you do not watch an ad. Those videos come from Google AdMob.

What does a rewarded video give me?

One of four boosts, depending on the button you tapped: extra coins, a bonus spin of the coin wheel, a life refill, or 2× coins from the pickle stand. The reward is for watching the video, not for tapping the ad inside it.

Can I play offline?

Yes. Levels, coins, unlocks, and cosmetics are stored on your iPhone. You need a connection only when you choose a rewarded video, because the video has to load and the reward has to be confirmed.

How do lives work?

The home screen shows five lives. Each failed drop can spend one. When you are out, a timer shows the refill. You can wait, or you can choose a rewarded video to refill sooner. Waiting is enough. The video is optional.

What is the coin wheel?

The bonus coin wheel pays 400–1,200 coins on a spin. Daily play includes wheel spins as part of the free game. An extra spin is available as an optional rewarded video if you want one.

How do I unlock pickles, eyes, mouths, and hats?

With coins from levels, combos, the stand, streaks, and the wheel. Some looks also unlock from levels, achievements, and daily streaks. The shop does not take real money. Details are on the Skins page.

What are the modes?

Level drops (500 of them), Endless (how far you can fall), and the pickle stand (serve a line of customers for coins). Achievements and combos sit on top of those. The How to play page walks through a drop, and Arcade covers the modes.

Who makes this, and how do I reach them?

Matthew Medici. Email yomatt41@gmail.com or use the support page. The same name is the seller on the App Store listing.

What data does the game collect?

Progress stays on your phone. Optional ads can cause Google AdMob to process a device identifier, coarse location, and ad interaction data. That data is not linked to an account, because there isn’t one. The full list, the App Store privacy label, and the opt-out steps are in the privacy policy.

Is the game for young children?

The App Store rating is 4+. Pickle Drop is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not ask players to create an account or type in personal details.

Does this website show ads?

No. pickledrop.app is the developer site: how the game works, support, and the privacy policy. Visit counts use DataFa.st. That is described in the privacy policy and is not used to advertise to you on other sites.
